Technical characteristics of the Surčin plant

SAVABIEN company processes all types of single glazing and produces all types of thermal packages
(two-layer, three-layer).

We use and apply all types of moldings that are processed on an automatic bending table (aluminum, PVC moldings with improved thermal so-called warm edge…). We also produce all types of facade glass, with and without overhang and have a Dow Corning certificate structural “watering” of the glass panel.

Technical characteristics of the Surčin plant

On the automatic line for the production of thermal insulation glass, we can produce a thermal package with dimensions from 185x350mm to 4500x2700mm.

By laminating, we produce multilayer laminated glass of various compositions and thicknesses with maximum dimensions of 1900x2800mm.

We also make all types of armored multilayer glass as well as glass coated with anti-vandal foil (eg for shop logos). The level of protection of glass with anti-vandal foil of 100 microns is P7B, ie according to BS EN356 P8B or over 70 blows with an ax until the foil and glass are completely broken.

The production technology and the whole production process is such that employee has no influence on the quality of the final product. A high degree of automation is a great advantage when it comes to glasses with specific coatings, because the surface of these glasses is extremely sensitive to touch, and damage can easily occur during manual processing.

Description of the thermal package

Thermal insulation package, so-called thermopack or thermopane, is a package composed of two or three single panes of different thicknesses and characteristics, which are separated by room moldings.

The space between them is filled with air or other gas to reduce heat transfer. Using various carefully selected materials, it is possible to lower the thermal conductivity of the final element, eg windows (Uw) by 0.1-0.3 W / m2K if instead of classic aluminum moldings for example, the “warm edge” of the molding.

SAVABIEN STANDARD THERMAL PACKAGE

Our standard product is a combination of: 4mm standard Float glass + 16mm aluminum molding Argon 90% + 4mm low emission glass.

This thermal package has a thermal conductivity Ug = 1.1 W / m2K.

SAVABIEN THREE LAYER PACKAGE

Three-layer standard package:
4mm low emission glass (film in position 2) + 15mm aluminum strip Argon 90% + 4mm standard Float glass + 15mm aluminum strip Argon 90% + 4mm low emission glass (film in position 5).

This thermal package has a thermal conductivity Ug = 0.6W / m2K.

CERTIFICATION

We use and apply a wide range of glasses from renowned world manufacturers. We have a certificate from the IFT Institute in Rosenheim on compliance with DIN EN 1279-2 and DIN EN 1279-3 standards in the production of thermal packages. qualities that are on their approved lists for use.

We have a certificate according to the most demanding CEKAL standards, which additionally ensured and confirmed the production of thermal insulation package for the most demanding world markets with the help of top quality materials that are on their approved lists for use.
